Reminder to Multi-purpose Your Products

One of the things I love about watching Monthly Favourites Videos and Tutorials on YouTube is not only that they're a great reminder to pull out some of my neglected makeup collection items, but it's also so interesting to see how different people apply their products, combine products, and think outside the box to come up with different ways to use their product.

I love see lip pencils used on the eye, brow pencils on the lip, blush on the eyelid, eyeshadow on the cheek for example.

Today's picture is how I used a freebie Napoleon Blush Patrol (from my In Style Magazine subscription deal last year) that was sooooo much more cool highlight than blush anything. It cannot be used as a blush whatsoever, but is OK as a highlighter in the face. I used the pale shimmer highlight all over the lid and inner corner and tried to pick up as much of the tiniest amount of blush/bronze shade that there was in the pan to use in my crease for a bit more warmth.

What products have you multi-purposesd lately?

Products Used in Below Picture:
NYX Jumbo Eye Crayon- Milk
Napoleon Blush Patrol
MAC Eyeshadow- Charcoal Brown
MAC Kohl Pencil- Teddy
Natio Brow Set (used brown brow shadow to smudge out kohl liner)
Australis Lash Length Extensions Mascara

Wishing you a truly beautiful day,

  1. I use Smashbox Cream Eye Liner for my eyebrows. Its a horrid eyeliner, but its great as an eyebrow product.
